A Random House-nak köszönhetően megtudtuk, hogy mit olvashatunk majd, az (eredeti nyelven) július 24-én megjelenő Thrawn: Szövetségek kötet hátoldalán.

Márciusban már beleolvashattunk az első fejezet tartalmába, azonban ezúttal végre kézhez kaptuk a könyv kedvcsinálóját is. Ugyan nem sok újdonság derül ki belőle, azt azért érdemes megjegyezni, hogy a bolygó, ahova az Uralkodó Thrawnt és Vadert egy közös küldetésre küldi, nem más, mint a Disney hamarosan megnyíló Star Wars élményparkjának helyszíne, a Peremvidéken is kívül elterülő Batuu. Még nem tudjuk pontosan, hogy milyen veszély is található ott meg, ám valószínűnek tűnik, hogy elég nagy, hiszen a Császár a két legfontosabb emberét küldte oda. Ugyanakkor a szöveg rámutat arra is, hogy nem ez lesz a rivális páros első közös küldetése; a Klón háborúk alatt Anakinnak és Thrawnnak pontosan ugyan ezen a bolygón kellett egyesítenie az erejét. Ezt maga az Uralkodó is jól tudja, így talán nem a titokzatos veszélyforrás az egyetlen oka annak, hogy kettejüket odarendelte.
